What do you do here?
Prepress Manager - I have responsibility for the running of the prepress and digital print dept of Livesey, more specifically this can be broken down into several areas.
- The general management of staff and work through the dept
- Dealing with and solving any technical issues arising from work provided by clients, and providing support the company sales force on technical issues
- Maintaining the computers, machinery and software required to do the job
- Remaining aware of developments in machinery and software that may help in improving the efficiency of the dept.
Whats the best thing about working for Livesey?
Undoubtedly the Nescafe Cappuccino from the drinks vending machine, tastes absolutely appalling, but keeps you awake to see the job done, even if it takes until midnight!
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
An ever rarer luxury, usually spent as personal chauffeur for my 9 year old daughter!
When my driving duties are done, i enjoy giving my drum kit a good thrashing...i cannot recommend any better stress relief!
I support Shrewsbury Town FC although i'm not sure i actually enjoy this, i suspect, i just need to break the habit.
